LUSO Launches New Logo & Website

LUSO is excited to launch a new logo and website as it approaches its 40th year of service to the community.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

February 18, 2020,  LONDON, ON – LUSO is preparing to celebrate 40 years of service to the community later this year.  As part of this key milestone, LUSO is excited to launch not only a new Website but also a refreshed organizational Logo. The logo continues to represent core values and principles that are important to LUSO; inclusion, diversity, unity, collaboration.

“The revamped lusocentre.org website is the primary portal for individuals and families who are accessing our programs and services and who want to learn more about LUSO. In today's world, given the various technology methods that people currently use, it was important for us to update our website to be more user friendly and easier to navigate. Our website has been outdated and static for many years, so this is quite the overhaul for us” said Kasha McEwen-Doan, LUSO Chair.

"In the 39 years LUSO has been operating in London, we have grown significantly and have served many different clients from various cultures and backgrounds.  Our website is often how individuals learn about our programs and services, so it was important to have a website that was reflective of who we are as an organization and promoted upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. We know we will have a few glitches to  fix, but that is to be expected when you launch new platforms. We are excited to finally have a new website and a refreshed Logo to take us into the next 39 years" said Elisabete Rodrigues, Executive Director for LUSO Community Services.

With a swipe, touch or a click, the website outlines the breadth of children, youth and family programs, community development work, multicultural outreach, settlement support and other services that LUSO offers.

LUSO Community Services operates in the heart of Northeast London as a non-profit multicultural neighbourhood resource centre dedicated to promoting inclusiveness, well-being and prosperity in the London community. We provide a variety of programs and services to serve the community.  Our programs support children, youth and families of culturally diverse backgrounds. LUSO offers basic needs programs; literacy based programs; youth programs; cultural and sensitivity training; and much more. Connect via lusocentre.org
